Atma's COVID-19 Protocol

Dear Valued Customers,

We at Atma are a group of healers that are operating in a lawful and safe manner with the highest standard of business practices and cleanliness in mind. The following are our protocols we will be practicing to keep our customers and therapists safe.

If you have experienced any coughing, headache, or illness within the last two weeks we ask you to reschedule your appointment. If you have traveled outside of California and especially the hotspots we ask you to reschedule.

We ask that you bring your own mask and wear it while in Atma

1) When arriving, we ask that you arrive on time and text the spa with your name. As soon as the room is prepared (sanitized, re-sheeted, and wiped down) we will text you and ask you to come in. We will lead you right to your treatment room since we are severely limiting our waiting room.

2) We will ask that you comply with a temperature screen, and to sign a waiver before treatment. We will also ask you to wash your hand thoroughly for 20 seconds prior to treatment.

3) We are practicing social distance in our hallways and waiting rooms. Please be aware and practice a 6’-10’ distance.

4) We are asking that communication be kept to minimum to keep lessen the possibility of transmission. We realize that you need to communicate, and we are eager to serve you in the manner you are looking for, and please don’t hesitate to tell therapist if something is hurting or otherwise undesirable during massage. We just ask that chit chat be kept to a minimum.

5) We always have and will continue to practice strict sanitizing practices.

  • Therapists wash hands for 20 seconds prior and after treatment. Therapists may also opt to wear gloves.
  • Therapists will wear masks.
  • After all treatments door handles, treatment tables and all hard surfaces will be disinfected.
  • Please use hooks in rooms to hang clothes on.

6) All individual therapists take their own payments. A therapist may elect at this time to only take cards to minimize risk of transmission.

7) We are implementing online gift card and booking in the near future.

Remember taking care of yourself is extremely important during this very stressful time. Massages, when allowed again, helps to calm the sympathetic nervous system and reduce stress and increase resilience. We can’t wait to be able to serve our community and especially you when the time is right. Remember, although we are all experiencing this event in our own unique way, we are all in this together, for a common good!

If you have any questions or concerns we are here for you.

With Loving Kindness,
Mary Sullivan
Owner/Massage Specialist
